Yoana Stoyanova

Yoana Stoyanova

Student in Culturology

I strive to expand my world, one tinny step at a time, by looking deep into myself and into others; and to be in this world consciously and genuinely. I decorate it with versification, photos, sincerity, open conversations and trust in things that I cannot predict.

Yana Petrova

Yana Petrova

I am Yana, I’m 21, and I study culturulogy at Sofia University

My city is Burgas and as a sea-child I define myself as a sociable and cheerful person. I have been volunteering and working as a peer educator for the last 5 years and during that time I have participated in many campaigns and training. I was involved with theater for a while but mostly with HIV/AIDS prevention and other similar topics. Traveling is a passion of mine and so is working with school kids. I’m open to new things and challenges, I want to meet people who are interesting and full of ideas, and with whom I can exchange experience, knowledge and positive emotions; and I want to hear and feel the harmony in the world.

I love traveling, I love going to the theater, I find it interesting to talk to artists. I love people who are honest and sincere, I hate lie. I try to understand (people and situations – I don’t know how good I am in this). I love to love; it’s nice when I am being loved.

Janet Grigorova

Janet Grigorova

Student in Culturology

For myself I can say that I believe in the ideas and causes that I defend, otherwise I would not have gotten into this, because when we start something, it must be done well and qualitatively. In my opinion young people are the ones who have to build and support the civil society, because together we can do anything. When I was still in high school I took up different projects related to various social issues such as: discrimination in schools, the diversity of cultures, prevention of human trafficking etc. I would like to keep doing this in the future. I love challenges because they charge me with energy. Citing “On the God of Socrates” by Apuleius, I will say that men are “severally mortal, yet all of them eternal in their whole species”, that’s why when we have a common idea, we must work together to carry it out.
